We at Belmont are dedicated to helping people ‘Find Direction’ for life through a growing faith in Jesus Christ, and through serving both the church and our community. Belmont Assembly of God is part of the national and international fellowship of churches known as the Assemblies of God. We are an evangelical, bible-believing church that embraces the “full gospel”, which includes not only a firm belief in salvation through a personal relationship with God (through repentance from sin and receiving of Jesus Christ as personal Savior), but also in the “promise of the Father” – the baptism in the Holy Spirit.

BRIEF HISTORY
Belmont Assembly of God has been in continuous existence in the City of Chicago since 1907. As time moved forward and succeeding generations integrated with the ethnic diversity of our city and metropolitan area, we became a church intent on reaching ALL nations. As a result of God’s grace, we are now embracing somewhere over 60 different nationalities and participate with missionaries spread out over our globe.
