It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Ed Urban, a beloved member of Belmont Assembly of God.
Edward Francis Urban, age 76, U.S. Army Veteran during the Vietnam War. He was born in Chicago on June 25, 1947, and born into eternity on January 14, 2024. Edward was the most loving husband of Norma J. Urban. Ed served Belmont Assembly of God into Kingdom success. One of our elders, Gary Alioto, has a few things to say about Mr. Urban.
"Ed happily served in the Parking Lot ministry for several years at Belmont. When his wife, Norma (Jean) had some medical problems, he tended to her needs faithfully and hung up his parking lot security vest. Ed kept pushing Norma to come back to church after her medical problems and she was glad he did. They both enjoy the Belmont community and the outstanding ministry that they receive.
I recently found out that Ed was a perfectionist when it came to making things out of wood. He has made many quality items over the years for his family and they cherish them. I am sure that his skillset will not go to waste as he is now in the presence of the 'Master Carpenter'!!!"
