Rules : FINISH YOUR PIE!

- Simply put, the first three people to eat their pies the fastest win - NO HANDS MAY BE USED.  

- The first three to finish their pies and stand upright will end the contest and be the winners.

- Judges will decide if pies are actually finished before ending the contest.

- In the event of a tie – whichever person, in the opinion of the judges, ends up wearing the most pie and the biggest smile will be announced as the overall winner.

- Any visible signs of sickness will cause disqualification.

- Children under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian present at the picnic to participate

- Prizes will be issued to winners after judging

FINE PRINT: 

I know that eating a pie at a fast rate of speed is potentially a hazardous and possibly ridiculous activity. I should not enter and eat unless I am medically able. I agree to abide by any decision of the contest officials and abide by any and all contest rules. I assume all risks associated with eating in this event including, but not limited to, indigestion, stretched tummy, bluenose, contact with other contestants, a general dislikeness for pie after I am done, and all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this and knowing these facts and in consideration of belmont assembly accepting my entry, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive, and release Belmont Assembly, the contest organizers, pie suppliers/bakers, their representatives and successors from all claims of liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event. I also understand that the above is also related to any food allergies, that I hold harmless Belmont assembly, contest organizers, pie suppliers/bakers, their representatives and successors from all claims of liability of any kind. By signing up, I authorize pictures and photographs of myself to be used in promotion of this event and future events.
