Anchor YOUNG ADULTS! Pastor @_reggiehill from Journey, a young adults ministry in Kenosha, Wisconsin, will be our guest speaker this Sunday!
For the last ten years, God has given him a deep compassion for young people and a heart to serve by leading them into a deeper relationship with God. He has a deep desire to see the Holy Spirit guide them and impact their lives forever. He also has a huge passion for young leaders and leadership development. At his core, there is a desire to encourage and inspire others around him. In his spare time, he enjoys watching movies, playing sports, reading, listening to podcasts, and spending time with people.

Last week, we heard from Ben Struss and a handful of the 60+ missionaries we (Belmont Assembly) support through Assemblies of God World Missions. We believe God has called us ALL to tell the world about the good news of Jesus Christ, however we also believe in sending people to the ends of the earth to serve and reach those who would otherwise never come into contact with a Christian! We’ve put a powerful playlist together to commemorate the awesome time we had #together.
Listen to the messages from our October 2022 Missions Celebration wherever you get your Podcasts.

Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. After all, no one ever hated their own body, but they feed and care for their body, just as Christ does the church— “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.”
Ephesians 5:22-31 NIV
Hey Anchor!
Last sunday we started our 6 week zoom Bible study. We read and discussed CHAPTER 1 together. Like the Ephesians, we are a multicultural/ethic group. Despite our differences , in Christ, we are one body and one family.
This Sunday, April 25, we’ll be sharing what we read in Chapter 2. It’s a short chapter, but it’s filled with a lot of good nuggets, so don’t forget to write out your thoughts in a journal.
Remember, THERE ARE NO STUPID QUESTIONS! This is not a classroom, where you say the wrong answer and are dismissed. This is a community, where we grow together through fellowship.
We can’t wait to see y’all this Sunday at 7pm-8pm!

Prodigal.
What a blessing it is to have family like Brock Bennett join us for a night of worship and an encouraging word. Brock and his wife Tori reminded us that we mean more to God than the wrongs we have done, more than a set of rules to follow. When we turn to God, He can come to us before any troubles will because He is our Heavenly Father.
