What We Do

The director knows what is going on during service, communicates to all of the camera operators, and  is in charge of recording the worship services. He or she instructs the camera operators over headphones and chooses which camera will be recorded or sent to the screens during the service. This is done by watching monitors for each camera in the media booth and using the video switcher to choose the camera wanted at the time.

Lighting is both a necessity and an enhancement to the overall atmosphere and experience we encounter at Belmont Assembly of God. Tasks are rarely labor intensive, but do require a keen eye to properly support our services and events. 

Using specialized lighting in services can be a tremendous benefit in setting an appropriate worship environment without taking the lighting effects too far. These elements create a culture of participators rather than spectators. 

Chances are, any event at Belmont Assembly of God will need an audio engineer. And now that we are streaming each service, we need double the help for our online audiences. 

You will control the volume levels for all microphones and instruments used on the stage mixed in the audio booth (separate from the media booth) or web audio control room in the East Loft.

Located in the media booth, you will work on a computer and operate ProPresenter 6 to change lyrics, announcements, etc. that are projected onto the screens and online.

As of 2021, we now use a lower-third option for scripture and lyrics display during our services. This will require you to work with our directors to help put them on screen for the congregation as well as our online audience to see. 

You can join the web team as a contributor to content by using your writing, editing or photography skills. We use Wordpress, Duda Mobile, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter social content management systems. Our website dashboards allow us to add content to the site without the need for coding or programming skills.

If you have a digital camera or great resolution on your smartphone, if you are familiar with editing photos and sharing files online, and if you are interested in taking pictures of people and events, we need you!

We are always updating our followers and various media with pictures of church life, services and events taken and edited on a regular basis.

If you have a computer and are familiar with desktop publishing software like PhotoShop, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, or others that are similar for layout and image creation - there are many ways your skills can help at Belmont Assembly of God. There is a constant need to promote announcements and events through our website, printed cards, signage, and other digital media.

You can join the video team as a camera operator and/or editor for special productions. We are constantly recording events and testimonies or creating short videos for web use or promotion of ministries. If you are already making home videos, you have a head start! Come talk to us.
